The situation

Code Nexus Creator is running a five-day sponsorship campaign that will push traffic to roughly ten times normal. Leo wants capacity 'delivered before lunch' and has a datacentre quote open in another tab. Priya asks you to work out what Code Nexus actually needs before anyone signs anything.

What you'll learn

  • AZ-900 cloud concepts: the shared responsibility model, cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), deployment models (public, private, hybrid), consumption-based pricing, and the core benefits of cloud — elasticity, scalability, agility, and moving capital expense to operating expense.

Who you work with

  • Priya Naidoo

    Cloud Architect

  • Leo Martins

    Product Manager

What you leave with

The lab recommendation uses elastic compute, managed data services and a private path under a five-day demand assumption. Budget alerts monitor a spending target; they do not cap it. The record includes scale-down and retained-cost review.
